What is a vintage musical instrument? That is an instrument which is made in its "golden era". This varies a lot from one instrument to another. The "golden era" for mandolins is from 1905 to the mid 1920`s , while for vintage guitars is from 1950`s to mid 1960`s. Today vintage musical instruments are becoming more and more popular. From 1985 to the present market prices for vintage musical instruments have increased considerably. Musicians and collectors are searching all over for collectible instruments to increase their collections. Where is the best place to find good objects? How often do you find ie. ludwig vintage drums or even a bass guitars vintage ? In many places, most of these instruments are in private ownership so one way is to advertise after spesific instruments that you are looking for. Many of these vintage musical instruments are not in use. They are put away because those who played it are passed away or does not use in anymore for different reasons. They does not even know the instrument is that valuable and many of them are forgotten and stored away. Very often such instruments are being sold on flee markets, garage sales, antique markets and in classified ads, so a good advice is to find out about such events in your local area.
 
Last time I were at a flee market I saw a vintage trumpet for sale and I bought it to a reasonable price. Especially in week-ends there are lots of different sales and vintage musical instruments often turns up. Of course there is worthless, wornout and damaged instruments for sale, but once in a while you come across good vintage guitars. I recommend reading newspapers and local magazines for classified ads, once in a while vintage musical instruments are being sold there and you can make a bargain. Of course you can buy straight from a dealer but I dont think that will be cheap, they do know the instruments value and price it high. Guitars are considered as a well-known instrument. Guitars are used by a person who loves music. And mostly all of knows how to play it. Having a vintage guitar of your own separates you among others. The music that is played makes us cradle in the wind. That’s why it is so good to hear someone playing a guitar.

It is so obvious that an vintage electric guitar needs the supply of electricity in order for it plays. While an acoustic guitar can play without the supply of electricity. The electric guitar sounds louder with the help of the speakers while the acoustic guitar sounds softly.

From the word vintage itself, we can surely understand that it is expensive and of great value. A certain thing can’t be considered vintage unless it is bought or given a few years ago when we are still little. People nowadays tend to look for vintage items in the internet for they know how much value a vintage item holds. And the value of a vintage item never goes down but rather goes up always. The older the guitar is, the higher the value. A guitar can’t be considered vintage when it is not well taken care of. And most rock bands buy old guitars because vintage guitars look good and sound good.
